Welcome to the Shenandoah Retreat!
Take a break and relax in a large comfortable house on the base of Massanutten Mountain in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Perfect for couples, families, or small groups up to eight people. A rec room with a ping pong table and dart board makes for family fun. Take a ten minute walk through the woods to the river for wading, swimming, great fishing, or enjoyment of nature and the abundant wildlife. Enjoy conveniently located canoe and tube rentals, and the town of Luray with a movie theatre, shopping, and Luray Caverns is a fifteen minute drive away, as is golf and tennis. All levels of hiking are available nearby in the National Park, or you can walk along the dirt roads in the valley. In the fall enjoy the beautiful foliage and screened-in porch, and in the winter the two fireplaces. The Shenandoah Retreat is fully equipped except for towels and linens which guests are asked to bring. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 twin beds each, 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, 2 full baths, and two fireplaces on 2 levels. There are also 3 TVs (no cable), VCR, DVD player, 5 disc cd player, dishwasher, microwave, charcoal grill, gas grill, and washer/dryer.
For a weekend, arriving Friday after 12pm and departing Sunday by 3pm, the rate is $650.
